Fun & Profit ($$$) with Bug Bounties

Madhu Akula is 21 years old Information Security Researcher. He has found vulnerabilities in Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Adobe, At & t, Blackberry, Cisco and more than 200+ Applications and also contributed his skills to open source community and found vulnerabilities in Ntop, OCS-NG and many other (CVE-2014-4329, BID-66460, BID-68292). During his graduation he has trained Indian Navy and more than 3000 students by various workshops and talks.

Malware Detection and Removal for Beginners

A harsh reality for every computer system accessible, networked or not is or will be (almost) be infected by some malware. Although there are many “Anti-Virus/Malware” systems are there to protect us they are bound to fail at some point in time. And when they fail is the time to get our hands dirty and find and remove them ourselves. Although at this point the talk is not promising to cover everything because of limitations (level of technical insight of me and my audience), It’ll cover most of what to do when a system is suspected of infection and when to be suspicious.

Working since 2010 on various research topics within security industry with ample exposure to development (C/C++/Ruby/Python/Java). Intermediate level understanding of Windows & Linux OS (know nothing about Mac except that its based on Unix). Always tying to lay low and understand things below HTTP. A PC Gamer whenever I can be.
